SILIQUAN is a dynamically developing research company, originating from the Institute of Physical Chemistry of Polish Academy of Sciences – an internationally renowned scientific institution. Its headcounters are situated in the rapidly evolving masovian district of Poland. It was founded by academic researchers who’s goal was to provide a variety of reliable materials to assist scientists in labs around the world in their journey towards scientific discoveries.
SILIQUAN products are unique due to their internal structure – our fluorescent nanoobjects are composed of small fluorescent cores, surrounded by a non-fluorescent silica shells with gradually differentiated thickness. This provides our customers with a series of nanoobjects having different physical diameters, yet constant fluorescent core size. Maintenance of the core’s diameter size guarantees the utility of such nanoobjects in advanced microscopic techniques, such as fluorescence correlation spectroscopy.
SILIQUAN offers nanometer sized probes, having a selection of different surface coatings. We specialize in the production of both, fluorescent and non-fluorescent, silicone materials, offered in a wide range of sizes and forms (aqueous, non-aqueous solutions, solid state) to best suit the needs of our clients.

SILIQUAN’s products are thoroughly characterized by Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) technique, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and (upon request) Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS), prior to shipping. Scrupulous examination of our products guarantees compliance of each product batch with its specification. This enhances repeatability of experiments performed with SILIQUAN materials.
